Zensu Session Hub License Terms

Version: 2026-10-18-v1

§ 1 Scope and contracting party

(1) These license terms govern the use of the desktop software "Zensu Session Hub" for macOS, including its updates (the "Software"). The contracting party for the right of use is Marcel Karras, trading as "MK IT Consulting", Enderstr. 94, 01277 Dresden, Germany (the "Provider").

(2) Paid subscriptions to the Software are sold by the company of the Paddle group named during checkout, acting as reseller ("Paddle"). Paddle's terms, shown during checkout, govern purchase, price, payment, renewal, cancellation, withdrawal and refunds. These license terms govern the extent to which the user (the "User") may use the Software. They are the Provider's terms to which Paddle's terms refer as the "Supplier Agreement".

(3) The Provider's General Terms and Conditions also apply to the Zensu account the User signs in with. For the use of the Software, these license terms take precedence.

(4) For customers with an offline license under an individual contract, these license terms apply unless the individual contract provides otherwise.

(5) Conflicting terms of the User do not apply unless the Provider expressly agrees to them in text form.

§ 2 Subject matter

(1) The Software lists sessions and processes of the desktop application "Claude" by Anthropic PBC and reads displayed usage limits. On the User's instruction, it opens sessions, creates new sessions, moves sessions between Claude accounts, renames them, arranges windows and ends processes. To do so, it reads and operates the user interface of Claude Desktop through the macOS accessibility features. If the User turns this on, it also controls Apple Mail and Safari to automate the sign-in to Claude.

(2) The Software processes the content of Claude sessions and the sign-in emails it reads for the automatic sign-in only on the User's device. It does not transmit this content to the Provider.

(3) The Software is not a product of Anthropic and is not supported, reviewed or approved by Anthropic. Anthropic's terms govern the use of Claude. They restrict access to Claude through automated means. Anthropic could regard the use of the Software as such access and restrict or suspend the User's Claude account. The User decides which functions of the Software to use and is responsible for using Claude in accordance with Anthropic's terms.

(4) The system requirements and the Software's dependency on Claude Desktop are described in the "Notice on the dependency on Claude Desktop", which the User accepts separately before the trial and before an order.

§ 3 Right of use

(1) For the duration of the User's entitlement (§ 4), the Provider grants the User the non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable right to install and use the Software for the User's own purposes.

(2) The right of use is personal to the User. The User may use the Software on up to three devices activated at the same time that the User personally uses. The User manages devices in the Zensu account.

(3) If the entitlement is part of an organization's plan, the User uses the Software as a person designated by the organization. The right of use then exists only while the organization has assigned a seat to the User and its plan includes the Software.

(4) The Software checks the entitlement using signed licenses bound to the person and the device. A license is valid for at most 30 days. While the entitlement exists, the Software renews it online; the Provider supplies offline licenses as a file.

(5) All rights not expressly granted in these license terms remain with the Provider. Mandatory statutory rights of the User, in particular under sections 69d and 69e of the German Copyright Act (UrhG), remain unaffected.

§ 4 Entitlement and trial

(1) An entitlement exists during a trial, a paid subscription, an organization plan that includes the Software, or an individual contract.

(2) Each person can use the trial once. It lasts 14 days, is free of charge and ends automatically. A paid subscription arises only from a separate order.

(3) When the entitlement ends, the User can no longer start functions that require an entitlement. The User can pause or end operations that have already started. History, settings and saved accounts remain accessible on the User's device.

(4) The Software may be used by persons aged 18 or older.

§ 5 Obligations of the User and prohibited acts

(1) License files, device keys and credentials are personal. The User must not pass them on to third parties or make them accessible to third parties.

(2) The User must not

1. rent, lend or sell the Software or license files, or otherwise make them available to third parties for use;

2. circumvent, disable or modify the license, device or time checks of the Software, for example by modifying the program code, interfering with the running process or its memory, re-signing the Software or manipulating the system time for that purpose;

3. forge licenses or extend their validity;

4. distribute or make publicly available modified versions of the Software or tools for circumventing the checks named in item 2;

5. remove or alter copyright notices, trademarks or the signature of the Software.

(3) The Software may be decompiled, disassembled or otherwise translated back only to the extent that sections 69d and 69e UrhG or other mandatory provisions permit.

(4) On request to , the Provider makes available the information necessary to achieve the interoperability of an independently created program with the Software.

(5) The Provider corrects errors in the Software within its liability for defects (§ 7). If the Provider does not correct a reported error within a reasonable period, the User may correct the error, or have it corrected, under section 69d (1) UrhG.

(6) Anyone who in good faith investigates a security vulnerability in the Software and reports it to the Provider confidentially at does not breach paragraph 2 item 2. This applies only as long as that person does not access data of other persons, does not infringe rights of third parties, does not distribute circumvention tools and publishes the vulnerability only after the Provider has fixed it or 90 days have passed since the report.

(7) If the User seriously breaches paragraph 1 or 2, the Provider may terminate the right of use for good cause and block the affected licenses and devices. A prior warning is required unless it is dispensable under section 314 (2) of the German Civil Code (BGB). In that case, the Provider ends a running subscription through Paddle. Statutory claims remain unaffected.

§ 6 Updates, changes and discontinuation of the Software

(1) During the entitlement, the Provider supplies the updates necessary to keep the Software in conformity with the contract, including security updates. For consumers, section 327f BGB applies.

(2) The Provider informs about available updates and about the consequences of not installing them. If a consumer does not install such an update within a reasonable period, the Provider is not liable, subject to section 327f (2) BGB, for a defect that results solely from the lack of that update.

(3) Beyond paragraph 1, the Provider changes the Software only for a valid reason, in particular to adapt it to new versions of macOS or Claude, for security reasons or because of legal requirements. The change is free of charge for the User, and the Provider informs about it clearly and comprehensibly. If a change impairs access to the Software or its usability more than only insignificantly, the Provider informs consumers at least 30 days in advance on a durable medium. Consumers may then terminate the contract free of charge under section 327r (3) BGB.

(4) If the Provider discontinues the Software, it announces this at least three months in advance. If the discontinuation results from circumstances the Provider could not foresee, such as a change to Claude Desktop or macOS or a measure taken by Anthropic, the Provider announces it without undue delay. Fees paid in advance for the period after discontinuation are refunded pro rata.

§ 7 Rights in case of defects

(1) The statutory rights in case of defects apply; for consumers, the provisions on digital products (sections 327 et seq. BGB) apply. The statutory limitation periods remain unaffected.

(2) The parties agree separately on the deviations described in the "Notice on the dependency on Claude Desktop" (section 327h BGB).

(3) The User's statutory claims against Paddle as seller remain unaffected.

§ 8 Liability

(1) The Provider is liable without limitation for damage caused by intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act, for fraudulently concealed defects and under a guarantee it has given.

(2) In cases of slight negligence, the Provider is liable only for the breach of material contractual obligations. Material obligations are obligations whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance the User may regularly rely. In this case, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.

(3) Any further liability is excluded. The provisions of this section also apply in favor of the Provider's legal representatives and vicarious agents.

§ 9 Data protection

(1) To check the entitlement, the Provider processes account data, the device ID, device name and public device key, the times of the trial, activation, license issuance and blocking, the record of the acceptance of these license terms, and technical connection data. The Provider does not receive the content of Claude sessions or sign-in emails.

(2) Details are set out in the privacy policy at https://www.zensu.dev/en/privacy.

§ 10 Changes to these license terms

(1) A new version of these license terms applies to an existing contract only if the User expressly accepts it. Silence or continued use of the Software does not count as acceptance.

(2) A new trial and a new order are governed by the version shown when they are concluded.

§ 11 Final provisions

(1) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory provisions of the state of their habitual residence.

(2) If the User is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is Dresden, insofar as such an agreement is permissible under section 38 of the German Code of Civil Procedure. Otherwise, the statutory places of jurisdiction apply.

(3) If a provision of these license terms is invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid. The statutory provision replaces the invalid provision.

(4) These license terms are available in German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Russian and Chinese. The version in the language the User accepted is authoritative.

Notice on the dependency on Claude Desktop

Version: 2026-10-12-v1

Zensu Session Hub (the "Software") by Marcel Karras, trading as "MK IT Consulting" (the "Provider"), complements the desktop application "Claude" by Anthropic PBC. Please read this notice before the trial and before an order. Items 1 to 5 describe characteristics of the Software that may deviate from the objective requirements for digital products (section 327e (3) of the German Civil Code, BGB). By confirming this notice separately, you expressly agree to these deviations (section 327h BGB), for the trial and for subscriptions you purchase through Paddle. Item 6 informs you about a risk to your Claude account.

1. Dependency on Claude Desktop: The Software reads the user interface of Claude Desktop through the macOS accessibility features. Anthropic can change this interface at any time and without notice. Afterwards, individual functions, such as detecting sessions or reading usage limits, may fail temporarily until an adapted version of the Software is available. Deviating from the statutory requirements on compatibility, the Provider does not warrant that every new version of Claude Desktop is supported from its release. If an adaptation is permanently impossible, the Provider discontinues the Software under § 6 (4) of the license terms; fees paid in advance are then refunded pro rata.

2. System requirements: macOS 14 or later, an installed Claude Desktop application and the "Accessibility" permission in System Settings. The optional automatic sign-in through Apple Mail and Safari also requires the automation permission.

3. Online check: The Software requires a license that is valid for at most 30 days and is renewed online while the entitlement exists. Without an internet connection, functions that require an entitlement are no longer available at the latest when the license expires.

4. Device limit: At most three devices per person can be activated at the same time.

5. Time check: The Software checks the system time. If the clock is set back, it blocks functions that require an entitlement until a new license is confirmed.

6. Anthropic's terms: The Software is not a product of Anthropic and is not supported, reviewed or approved by Anthropic. Anthropic's terms govern the use of Claude. They restrict access to Claude through automated means. On your instruction, the Software operates Claude Desktop automatically, for example when it creates, moves or renames sessions or signs you in automatically. Anthropic could regard this as automated access and restrict or suspend your Claude account. You decide which functions you use.
